i was watching a movie last night, and a whole group of men walked through a wall of fire, all of them escaped without so much as a superficial wound... i was wondering, is this physically possible?

They'd have no eyebrows. Or much hair left , anything with a low burn point would go up real quick.
Depends how hot the fire is too, what they're wearing and such. -- [ In My own honest opinion... Kari's Hot ] |

Hello, im from Germany, so excuse my bad english.
For such a fire i would prevent ethanol, because it burns with a low temperature. When you mix the ethanol with water (50%/50%) then you can put paper in this solution and ignite it and just the alcohol but not the paper will burn. It is possible that you can put your hand in this solution and after ignition you will not have any burnings.... but please dont try this at home. So i think that it is possible to walk through a wall of flames, then they burn with a low temperature. |

you watched charies angels 2, and your most major complaint is that the fire didnt burn anyone?
because i seriously doubt that any part of that film is in any way, based in the realms of earthly physics. |
