Surely Indiana Jones is just ripe for a special.
There must be a heap of myths we can pull out of the show but for starters the classics have to be .....
The whip - Can you whip an outcrop and swing across a chasm?
The mine cart - The ultimate!! Can the mythbusters build a track which will successfully launch a mine cart over the lava ??

Any other suggestions out there from the Indiana Jones movies?

The movie is good, and Harrison Ford is awesome, they picked the perfect guy for the role, but did you know that Tom Selleck was supposed to be Indiana Jones, but he wasn't able to do it.

Depends on how far away he was. A direct hit would vaporize him and turn the ground to glass.

only sillica sand will be turned into glass by intense heat. most other stuff will burn or evaporate. though some polymers might survive, but they would be well past glass transition temperature, leaving them, tempererily with the appearance of glass, in theory

He would be vaporised by the heat from a process known as Nuclear Fission. Im sure I dont need to explain it, but yes, sand would be turned to glass, but a person or any animal within a mile of the blast zone, dependant on the size of the uranium or nuclear product used, would be vaporised and just effectively, dissapear. People's shadows were burnt onto walls that still stand today at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, even though the person was vaporised almost 65 years ago.

That would be an interesting special! Like for example could you rip out someone's heart with your bare hands during an evil ceremony! Ok, not that one, but yeah.
They did touch on the awning drop, and the life raft ditch. But there could be potential for this.
-Like what happens to a body when it walks into a plane prop, ouch.

Another good thing to test are the booby-traps in the movies. Could stepping on a stone button cause an poison dart to shoot out using only technology available to the natives in the jungle? or how about stepping into light and causing a trap to be sprung?

In the third movie, The Last Crusade, Indiana Jones was able to kill several german soldiers that were lined up in a row by shooting a german made pistol at piont blank range. Could that be possible?
