I've often heard this myth and never really seen a true answer to it.
The myth goes that if you stop washing your hair with soap and conditioner for Two weeks, (I've also heard six weeks as the time) and just rinse it with water, then it will eventually become self cleaning and be able to strip itself of all excess oils. I'd like to see if this is true, and if you actually still need to rinse it with water daily when its "self cleaning" or whether it'l never need washing again. As this always seems to not get mentioned when people talk about the myth. |
