ive heard that nasa are stopping space walks due to the deris orbiting the planet can pass right through astronaurt, is this true and how fast is the debris really moving

1. i dont think so
2. depends how big the bags are 3. "humpty dumpty" is based on a big cannon which sat on a castle wall, and pwned pretty much everything, until it got knocked off, and no one couuld get it back up to the top of the wall. 1. is very possible, because orbiting speed is about a 20-30 km/sec and any debris, bigger than sand drop, in that speed may penetrate astronaut and pass thru a space ship.
That is why working a programs like "Let free a space from human garbage" (garbage make a space travels WERY dangerous) |

granted the debris s moving jolly quick, but they tend to have small mass. and im fairly sure that nasa have anticipated this problem, and taken appropriate preventative measures.
