As you probably know mythbusters did a myth on the brown note and discovered that it was busted. However on a science show called braniac on sky one they also tested the brwon note and proved that it worked. they did this by placing a man inside a portaloo then played the brown note into the portaloo this caused him to excrete violently.

I seen the Brainiac show also. The person was subjected to a low frequency sound, this made him pebble dash the kasi. Hence the "brown note". Also mentioned about using it a as a weapon in war. Veiwers were also so asked to email or call in if they had experienced any effects. However I don't think that any viewers would because their tv's mid, bass, treble settings would note allow the frequency output(into the home)to be the same as the (test site)input.

brainiac as a show is absolutly bogus!!! nearly all the experiments they conduct have no scientific value, no controls and no proper s.o.p's... it is a weak show for the weak minded...

And mythbusters does?

Get real. They are TV programmes produced for entertainment not highly developed scientific research projects. One is American, one is British. One has a pair of presenters feeding off each other, one has a single presenter etc. you can't justify either scientifically.

Vive la difference!

Richard Hammond's wife and Kids might object to you calling him gay. I assume you are using this word in the current non-homosexual sense.

As for putting down handbags.... to ask for people to put down handbags and then bash someone over the head with one!

and anyway are you telling me that shooting each other with paintballs until someone yields is good science. It is only TV.
