I've noticed that, on the opening credits and in between segments footage, the Mercedes SL of series 5 has been replaced by what appears to be a red Ferrari 308 GT4. There is no such car listed on the site for series 6 so is it featured on a future series? If so, can you reveal any other cars that will appear in this series?

Yes - I have noticed that as well. The credits do show Edd working very hard on putting a replacement exhaust onto this Ferrari.....
Also, this series is just 5 episodes, and all previous series of W.D. have been 6 episodes long.
Is 1 episode being held back, and why is that so?

Well a classified ad for the VW Beetle was spotted by one of the guys on the wheeler dealers facebook page:

In the background of one of the photos, you can see the 308 body on a trailer, probably having come back from Dick at the paint shop. You can also see the 944.

I don't think they're holding back an episode though. The seasons are usually 12 episodes long but I remember Mike mentioning on their facebook page that they had agreed to do 20 episodes this time round. I presumed they were going to run straight through but they've obviously decided to broadcast them as two separate seasons instead. My guess is that the Ferrari will be appear in this second batch of 10 episodes.

Hi all,

I'm afraid we can't let slip at this stage which cars will be featuring, but there will be another 10 episodes coming (scheduled for Autumn) as the second half of this series kicks off.

Keep an eye on the TV schedules for the exact time and dates, and nearer the time we'll have a sneak peek of some of the cars coming up on the Wheeler Dealers website.

Just please don't try to call the 308 GT4 a proper Ferrari. It was a complete turd and ugly as sin.
