Hi all,
When watching Wheeler Dealers the other week, the Triumph Spitfire episde, Ed used a tool which opened the rubber seals around the back window of the hardtop and the front windscreen and inserted a chrome decorative strip making a doddle out of what is normally a pain of a job. I've looked everywhere and can't find out what the tools are called, never mind where to find them! Can anyone help? I have a rather sad looking Spitfire which could do with some sprucing up. Thanks in advance, Peter. |

Hi Peter,
We looked into this for you and got a reply from Edd himself: I would imagine it might be called a windscreen bead insertion tool, having looked on the net http://www.vintagecarparts.co....rt.phtml?PartID=2249 looks like the same sort of thing, the part number, name and price... Hope that helps! The Editorial Team |
